My Philosophy

When you first think about what’s important on your wedding day experience it seems like a no brainer. However once the planning starts, the opinions are given, trends and traditions become overwhelming we lose sight of that initial vision. More often than not I have watch couples stray away from that original the idea of what their wedding is supposed to feel like as all the things that don’t matter take a front seat.

I say, "feel like," and not, "look like," because that’s exactly it! Your wedding day “feeling” is more important than any trend or Pinterest board you looked at. It’s the emotions, moments and memories that you want to walk away with. This is where I come in. Your investment includes my photography philosophy. After 9 years of photographing people’s love stories I have realized the importance of my job. I’m not just your photographer. It is not just the perfect photo I care about. I truly and deeply care about my couples experiencing their wedding day. I have found ways to help my couples stay present, to take time to feel, to be vulnerable, to laugh, dance and cry. While that is all happening, I capture it. THIS ONE DAY of your life deserves to be authenticity lived and documented.
